Rate planner

Scale one output without inventing missing math

Set a target per minute. The tree calculates building counts and upstream rates until it reaches a base producer or a dependency with unavailable quantities.

Select an output and enter the target units per minute. The planner expands every complete formula, rounds workshop counts up to whole buildings, and lists raw inputs separately.

How the math works

A Sawmill produces 10 Planks per minute from 4 Hardwood. A target of 20 Planks therefore needs two Sawmills and 8 Hardwood per minute before bonuses.

The same rule applies recursively. When an input has its own complete formula, the planner adds the upstream workshop. When a link lacks a rate, the planner keeps the dependency visible and stops rate math at that point.

Before you build the result

The total is a production baseline, not a layout guarantee. Travel time, Fetcher availability, route efficiency, worker upkeep, input storage, and output storage can all reduce actual throughput.

After calculating, open Fetchers and transport to lay out the links or fix stalled production if an existing chain is not reaching its displayed rate.
